Right alex cant come, toby can. Nothing else has changed and we still have to book it, except alex maybe able to come she just has to check... But it seems everyone is still happy with going to the resort we looked at. However, we need to book it and work out a way to get there, with me not able to travel until the 27th...

So suggestions anyone? I suggested i fly to paris on the 27th and u guys pick me up, k earlier having thought of taking the trip over two days. but toby pointed out ud actually have to go thru paris.... crazy traffic there.

Ok since I never use this site anymore then this should be the ideal location for a long involved discussion about where we want to go on holiday. I have already spoken to some of you and I got the general response was "somewhere hot" but I need to hear what everyone wants to do before we go and book something. So everyone write down something, oh I also thought that going on holiday in at either the very start of the hols or very end would be best, so jun-ish or august time. Write back! I had really hoped that this might have been a great venture. Two blogs! How could it not be a great idea! But I havent cracked it yet..... so I'm giving up. At least in the conventional sense.

Essentially I dont feel that I have done what I wanted with my blogs because there isnt a point of only one man writing on two blogs, its obvious now. So I am thinking that since I dont want to get rid of this blog that I should take the advice of my dear friend K(www.funnylonelylife.blogspot.com - for some reason it wouldnt let the html work) and open this blog to guests to blog! So this is your chance to shine people. If there are people out there, even if you dont know me, you never know I might know you... ¬_¬, then write in and I'll let you guest blog for at least one post. If I or my readers like your style then you can come back whenever you want. First of all it will just be my friends blogging I guess as no one outside of our group will know about it but hopefully the word will get around.

I have finally got away from lichfield and "town", since i rarely travel into bath city center during the day and so I thought to myself that my bloodlust for new Cd's and the like would slow and halt but no I find ebay again and have bought two more cds already... I am so goddamn weak!!! However, they are good Cd's and cheap too.... but NO!! Dammit control.... need control! Bought the Bravery and Dogs. Good guys, bad money spending paul!

Two days ago I went into lichfield to have lunch with a friend and afterwards I felt I needed more cd's. This is of course totally untrue, I have bought about 10 cd's since being back from uni. However they are the only thing that I have bought so it is ok. Anyways I went into tudor tunes, our local kick ass shop place, and went to buy coral album. I then enquired about the new kubb album and he said that they'd only released the single so far... I was about to turn away when he added 'oh but I have this promo you can have if you want, going cheap.' ;-D woot! So for something thats going to be like £10 I got early for £6! What a legend!

On some wacky kind of side-start note my mother just told me that last night I walked downstairs to fetch my bedding after I had gone up stairs to go to bed. I knew this. I had done it. But she still told me... why? Why would you do that???! I mean.... thats just wasted breath surely.
Anyway topic of rant is:
I had something I wanted to blog about, that I really felt about, but i forgot it so i will substitute with this.
Why do so many people I know, alot .... many, do this?!? I mean this is one of those true moments when I can honestly say I never/almost never do it. A prime example is fred. I asked him a question last year
"What time does co-op close today?" (sunday)
fred answers "I think its still open"
"No, what time does it close today?"
fred answers a bit more emphatically "I think its still open!"
I kind of paused here for effect "No, what time does the co-op close today!?!"
"dunno"

The bit I wonder about is when people answer the questions they think you are asking instead of the one you actually asked. I notice it quite a lot and generally ignore it but I decided it needed broaching. Many of you who know me, esp Kman, know I notice things too much. I am too observant. Although you may consider it a good thing it involves me getting annoyed by Kieran eating... anything, guys sniffing in exams and things like this question business.
I mean the question business is cool, as is much of my observations, for example noticing the police car squeal going slow round a corner when many people dont. But the downsides are causing me to do unusual things like wearing ear plugs in exams.
So beware the paul, i notice you.... 0-O...

End of the season

Well its the end of the season at hattrick and Kalaan's Imperium are going straight back down. I feel they will be joined by toby's troops and maybe paulmademedoit, although I think kierans team has a good chance of staying up.
Lets look back at some of this seasons highlights:

Firstly the shocking start to the season by Kalaan's imperium even loosing to Joskis monkeys, a team supporters thought would be noo problem.
Paulmademedoit's awesome start to the season where he even went into 3rd place I believe. This will have secured the fans with alot of confidence for what this team can accomplish.
Toby's troops selling habib. A big shocker to the footballing community, many people wondering if toby still has his head screwed on straight.
Another mystery in this seasons transfer list was Tomas Marhsall whom paulmademedoit bought for £366'000 but has yet to play... is this some strategm to gain surprise on a team deemed challenge worthy to kieran?
Paulmademedoit's devotion to his youth squad pulls another big seller out of the bag. Matthew forrester goes for £250'000. Whilst Kalaan's and toby's get nothing worthy from their youth squad.
Toby's troops and Paulmademedoit both miss out on 5th place by a point... coincidence?
And finally the devotion to Kalaans imperium from his supporters. Even though he went into 8th place over the season he has actually gained more supporters than lost.

Well my phone is out of batteries so we will be going on what i can remember tonight. Something I found amusing the other day was as I went to macdonalds after work I saw a police car go in to the drive thru (I think thats actually how macdonalds spell it too) and since it had to maneuver round a narrow drive thru road it went very slowly. It reached a corner and the tires squealled! At like 10 mph or less! Do all cop cars have built in squeals just for the extra effect in a car chase or when they're bringing in a suspect and want to park dramatically? so thats where our tzx payers money is going!

Touch the link for todays rant. I'm back and I'm armed and I'm dangerous. Grr. I have been away for reasons of which u will find on my other site, but for now let us talk about the pretenders. I am also, however, referring to Maguiver for this rant, but for the sake of sanity I will only speak of the pretenders.
It is one of those shows that we all know and watch occassionally but never get really into. The pretenders is about a man called Jared who was raised by the "centre" and broke free to help the world with his amazing intellect. He does all this whilst the centre tries to relocate him but they never meet because he is always about 50 steps ahead of them.
The reason I love this is its just one of those shows! The word I'm looking for is cheesy. Really really cheesy. He goes around involving himself in other peoples affairs to their benefit. But its the way the monologues are said that is genius. There are so many one liners and so many instances in which you think "how is he going to get out of this one?" then he finds the perfect solution or the guard is like a guard from thief 3. Maguiver is the ultimate example of this. He'll think to himself, richard dean anderson who also narrates, " hmm i need a length of rubber tubing, 50 pounds of ground ant lavae and a short necked turtle called bill." And then he'll quickly find the said items within a ten meter radius around his position, with the turtle being delivered by a friend, and somehow make a controlled bomb that takes out all the enemies before his cheesy one liner that gets him the girl.
What really makes me laugh about the pretender however is the fact that he is embued (quote from wikipedia) "with a talent for such pretences bordering on the supernatural" because he can impersonate anyone. But all that means is hes a good actor, not an einstein with the flair for danger.Ohhh if u get a chance watch an episode, good times.

Heh this was actually just a small point. Checked my phone and it says 'Anti-vertigo'. I'll explain in a second, but I must tell you this is the second of todays blogs and the other part had to be done seperately.

So anti-vertigo. When I was a kid I would play out in the garden alot, as you did when you were small. However I could never lie on my back. This is because every time I did this I had to look at the sky and when I did I felt as though I was going to start falling up out of the earth's atmosphere at any second. Many people experience the feeling that the sky is going to fall on them aparently but mine is different I definitely felt as thought I was going to fall, not the sky.
Anyone else get that at all?

Ruiner of books!

Why, why why do people do this! Every time there is a book or film that comes out and everyone knows that everyone else is going to see or read it eventually at least one person will come up to you and say 'I could ruin this book/film for you, ... but I wont!' .... They all say it as if they are doing you a great service! Its like thanking your parents each morning for not decapitating you in your sleep! (Note: not on the same level of harshness though if they do ruin your book/decapitate you) I heard it four different times from four different people and each time I keep getting stunned slightly. 'Well cheers! I'll have to take you off my death list then'. <- that should be my cunning reply, if a tad unnecessary. But anyway the main reason I brought this up is I hate the comments that some people say of this nature. Some of them, as my darling mother did today, say things like '

Hold up there, if you dont want anything known about the Harry potter book then dont read this. Or any of the rest of this blog, I'll post other stuff in a different one so you dont have to look.

'Oh I wont tell you who dies!' Again I should thank them for not being bastards, but also I didnt know anyone DIED!! Well thanks alot mum! Its those comments which rattle me slightly. Its not that they are doing it on purpose but they just dont think about what they are saying, they are too busy getting the fact out that they wont be mean sods who have already read the book. I suppose on some levels that they are just trying to say 'nyah nyah I've read it and you aint!' Cos they know you want to.

Please tell me you've all seen the new halifax adverts!?!? The ones where Harold is in a bath, *shudder*, and then suddenly a halifax spaceship, ????, launches him into space with this robot that looks like him.
AWESOME IDEA!! That is the best idea I've ever heard for what to do with harold, probably the most annoying person on adverts. Even better if they can equip his ship with that hyperdrive thingy that catapults him off into space at the end, so there is no chance of a 'return: revenge of the bank manager'. However I still think the said advert is annoying.

I'm tired, again yes dont look at me like that, so I'm not going to write much more but also how do you get a picture up onto the personal profile? cos I'm stumped.... and lazy.

I was watching Stargate and one of the main characters was alone, for a long time, and needed to solve a problem so she went a bit stir and started hallucinating her friends there to help her through it. However they all just kinda gave her enough information to help her solve her problem, how fitting! So she saved the day, blah blah blah. But I was just thinking if that were me, or anyone else I think I know well enough, and I was alone, the people I conjured probably wouldnt be that helpful. You know what I mean? I mean half the people I would conjure would just be my friends challenging me to a game of Halo or something! Mainly this is because they would be your own interpretation of your friends, so, for instance, if I had to conjure keiran he would come with a free inflatible Toby kit, with all the necessary mocking instructions.

Another thing that pops into mind is the vauxhaul (i think) car advert. The one with the car-man thing stretching on a post. I think they should sell one. It would be great! You could own your own mech!

when has our little town become so... shite? If you dont live in the area, I am refering to Lichfield.

Just to interupt myself for a second or two, my car alarm just went off on its own! Its 12:30 and I got back from the pub quiz half an hour ago... its quite random really. Thoroughly checked for burgulars and the like but to no avail! Strange. (note: not that I wanted to find burgulars..)

Ok. Lichfield. Yeah when I was in high school, the top end of it, we went into town every friday and all my friends would be there. Either in paradise ( a relaxing bar) or Lloyds, and it was great! We would drink all night, get hammered cos we were light weights, and stumble into a taxi or walk home and worry our mothers who were expecting us back at a 'Damn Reasonable hour'.

But my head has recently thought of something (Note: For the posts I write on this blog you must treat my brain/head as a completely different being to me, cos I do). 'Earth to paul', yes? I replied. 'those days are gone man.' 'Oh.... bummer'. My brain is to the point. But its true I went in last friday and out of the 50 or so people I still havent met up with since I got back only one other guy came in with me, it was the most wasted evening ever and because I live in shenstone, a small village outside of lichfield, I couldnt afford to get a taxi home and so had to spend an hour walking back down a duel carrigeway. Such a waste of money. At the pub quiz tonight, we did shite today, I was asked to go into town tomorrow and I thought maybe I should, maybe it will be different thatn last friday. My friend who invited me then said the line which made me think of this in the first place, he said 'there'll be at least four of us in!' ... ... ... 4??!? Four! Thats all! I mean come on! Also none of them come from shenstone so thats another long walk home, pardon me but I'll think I'll pass on that one.

So I ask unto you, do your friends still go into your local regularly? As much as they did back in the good old days? I mainly ask this at people who arent in my home town because... well, i know the answer.
Hmmm... more tomorrow. I'll dreg out my notes on my phone and get some random thinkings down on virtual paper. Spice things up a bit, oooh i'm so naughty :-D!

Woah! People actually responded!!! That is a resounding success! Whenever I have asked people to comment before it has either been ignored or silly comments have been posted, thanks guys! Ok firstly, hello to Jomama and dark knight. Unfortuneately I dont have enough money to just head out the door and follow my nose, for I fear my nose might lead me to some trouble. Bribes would be exchanged. Bank managers would growl. Paul would be sad.
Secondly I live with my parents over the summer then go back to Red eric's house when I go to uni. So still at same house as the fence.
Thirdly, and finally before I get onto todays point, I really wish we could get together and go paintballing. I've been a couple of times before and the experience is... unique. Well it is for me anyway, I truly get into it and I think its one of the best ways of spending a day, however... it-a cost-a hefty meatball-a. <- ?. Its expensive. If I could get my hands on some form of income then yes, I'd love to. But unlike a trip to some hills for a quick rambling, its too much money for me.

Ok Todays little snipet. Did you know that Newtons famous quote 'standing on the shoulders of giants' is actually not a man praising his forefathers? He is actually having a snipe at a fellow scientist called robert cook I think(?) who was really small, hence the giant bit! Funny how things get twisted eh? Kieran can back me up on this one if you dont believe me, or at least i hope he will. We were told about it in last years physics class.

But yeah has anyone seen that new cathedral cheese advert? The one where one guy makes cheese on toast with it and his daughter steals a slice, then the postman wants cathedral cheese, etc. Well by their logic shouldnt everyone in the world now be eating cathedral cheese constantly? Maybe its some kind of ploy! Maybe Tesco's has a rival in the bid to take over the world. For we all know that Tesco's is evil. They actually sell products at a loss so they can force other companies out of business to own the market. Soon everything will be Tesco's bought. Even children. Bastards. We'll all live in Tesco land instead of britain or the 'Tesco Sphere' instead of Earth. Woah! Look how the thread of my thoughts went! They are even corrupting my thoughts!! Crazy.

But going back to yesterdays post, does anyone have any new ideas for this summer barring paintball and just running out of the house?

Ok, someow I've lost my title bar and thats worrying. But I can just say it here.
HOLIDAY.

Ok. So mainly I'm not getting any jobs. I cant seem to find any in town, or other places and apparently there are alot of students with now jobs to give in places like Sutton. So This begs the question, do I need a job? Well of course I need a job but getting myself into a work place is proving harder than I thought. My mother asked 'If you dont need a job why dont you go out and do something?' In that she meant why dont I visit around the isles or go out and find some true experience of the world. I applaud her ideas, but I dont know where to begin! I was given some leaflets about rock climbing, scrambling and sailing but I still need advice.
So I ask unto everyone that reads this post, What should I do with my time?! I need to do something or it will be a summer wasted, but I cant think what! Also if any of you have some free time and wish to, say, go rock climbing with me then say so. Or, obviously, you can offer up new ideas that you may wish to go on or not.

I had thought about visiting unifriends for this expedition, going round the country and meeting them one by one, but that would interfere with jobs and their plans unless carefully engineered. So gimme some info on that if any of you want to meet up.

Well my first post on this is really what I am doing right now, I'll have a less nerdy one tomorrow. Oh and by the way I dont mind if you dont bother to read both blogs that I have, this is more for me than a service for others. My first is on splinter cell. I'm playing through it at the moment and my main reason for talking about it is that it has a co-operate mode and I was wondering who would want to play through it with me. (this is one of those points where everyone who reads this makes a comment, please!) I have to say though if you dont remember to quicksave frequently it can ruin your experience of the game. When I first started playing it my lack of quicksaves and my persistence in dying was what caused me to stop.
